Gallery Walk Friday February 26th, 20105:p.m. ~ 8:p.m The Wild Eye is proud to host a reseption for Photogragher Ron White. Ron's work in photography began six decades ago, his Dad taught him the basics of shooting Black & White photographs and printing them in the darkroom. Most recently he converted entirely to digital tools and marvels that he can create archival, museum quality prints in his home studio, without darkroom or chemicals. Over the last several years he has regularly upgraded his equipment to the Fine Art Professional standards which he now uses. Ron has taken his art from film and the darkroom to digital imaging which provides him with broad creative potential and fuels his enthusiasm. Some works mirror reality as seen by the camera and others show his experimentation in the digital-image world. Ron’s black & white and color imagery ranges from simple to complex, subtle tones to hard contrast and soft to tack-sharp focus. The broad range of imagery reflects his artistic interest in everything around him. Ron’s intent is to create lasting works of art that represent my vision. His subjects are many and include Birds, Insects, Landscapes, Animals, Flowers, Architecture, Abstracts, People and High-Dynamic-Range images.
