Judith Crowley
|
Judith Crowley has spent most of her life in Colorado. She loves the Rocky Mountains with all its splendor. Drawing, painting and sculpture, along with multitudes of studies in art have occupied the majority of her life. She became an art teacher and has applied all of these mediums for many years but now painting is her profession. She is interested in multiple subjects and her techniques are varied. Light and color used in expressive ways are a main focus. Every summer she goes to Taos, New Mexico to continue painting en Plein Aire and to join in intensive color studies, painting on location, and to keep an ongoing dialogue with many creative artists. Judith currently is a member of the Parker Artists Guild in Parker, Colorado where she lives. She has displayed at the Denver Art Museum, different metropolitan shows, and currently is showing in local exhibits and galleries. Frequently, she uses the signature of Jaice which is derived from the initials of her name. Judith finds great joy in the challenge of each new piece of paper or canvas. Painting continues to be an unending journey with new roads coming in view.
