Joe Milich has been drawing and painting his entire life. With an inherent artistic ability, love of nature and a passion for airplanes that began as a child, it's only natural that he has combined theses great loves into a lifelong career.

More than 27 years have been spent in the creation of his vast Aviation Art collection of pen and ink originals, limited edition prints, and aviation paintings.

Much of Joe's attention in recent years has focused on his love of plein air painting on location, mostly in Colorado. His paintings are impressionistic in style, full of color and light done free hand by direct observation. His larger paintings are done in the studio from field studies and reference material.

Jos is a graduate of the Rocky Mountain School of Art, and before that served in the U.S. Air Force as an illustrator at Lowry AFB. He and his wife, Allison, have been married 39 years and are the parents of two grown daughters (also artists), and grandparents of six talented grandchildren.
